If you can hear it clearly, then you should test that under controlled conditions. I'll offer a £400 digital interconnect to you absolutely free of charge if you can demonstrate your hearing prowess under proper test conditions - where you only use your ears and not your eyes.

It could be my hearing - but then my ears do exactly what all known science suggests they should - yours on the other hand do not. Who do you think is right?

sure , come to Preston with your cables and ill do a test for you , ill show you the difference cables make on my system while you are here.

I spent £360 on funky looking speaker cables and then swapped them out for a pair of £100 ugly cables a month later because I
    wasn't happy with the sound.

what are you saying ? my eyes prefer cheeper and uglier cables over more expensive and better looking ones ? please..

what you are saying is because YOU did a test and didnt spot any difference and because at this moment in time science cannot explain it then YOU are right and everyone else is wrong.

get off your high horse , if other people can hear differences but you cant then you are the problem not them.

    sorry, missed it....

    no...........

cablle s can be returned in the event of dissatisfaction.

    You told ME that.

"but then my ears do exactly what all known science suggests they should"

...like i say what does science know?

as far as i am aware it usually throws up more questrions than answers

It tells me there's mass delusion. There are NO contributors who have taken controlled and verifiable tests with the observation you claim. They all tell you you are imagining things. That should tell you something.

Ah OK . The earth is flat, the moon is an extra terrestrial, and pixies live at the end of your garden! I should have known. But surely science tells you silver is a better conductor of electricity and that sorbothene dampens vibration? So it knows some things, just not the ones you choose to imagine.

But you have not even proved to yourself that you can hear differences! Let alone me or any independent witness. Come on! How am I supposed to take you seriously?

    what a strange post.....

so all the other contributers who report cable differences are saying they are imagining things?

Thats not how I understood them.

you know for a minute there, the repetition of your opinion almost made me forget the value and worth of my own experience.

but keep it up it might work one day.

No. They are mistakenly saying they heard differences in most cases. They have not given themselves the chance to "hear" anything - nor have the vendors.

Because if someone were to prove they could hear differences in cables under controlled conditions, I'm sure we'd all hear about it pretty quickly - aren't you? ;)

I really surprised you haven't tested yourself. You ask what the incentive is - surely having a repost to those of us backed by science would be enough?
